Jenny's 'Wildlife and Tea' Courses

Please note that all dates for 2017 are now full.

Would you like to spend a relaxing afternoon with Jenny in her beautiful two acre garden in South Shropshire, learning more about wildlife gardening? These informative and enjoyable afternoons are for small groups of two to five people.  We will tour the garden and discussions can include making wildflower meadows, wildlife ponds and wildlife-friendly herbaceous borders - whatever you are most interested in. We finish with afternoon tea (fresh scones, home-made jam from our own fruit and a selection of  cake and biscuits - all freshly home-baked) in our cosy Garden Teaching Room (see below). All food is suitable for vegetarians and we are experienced in catering for gluten intolerance and vegan diets. You will also take home Jenny's book, Wildflower Gardening. These afternoons last for a minimum of 3 hours.

The cost for Wildlife and Tea is £40 per person.

These courses run in early to mid-summer and are weather dependant

'Your Wildlife Garden' - for Individuals

If you would prefer an afternoon with individual attention you can spend time in Jenny’s garden discussing your own garden and how to make changes to maximize its wildlife potential, or as a beginner simply learn about the principles of wildlife gardening. Topics can include general wildlife gardening, making wildlife ponds, encouraging pollinators or making wildflower meadows - but we can be flexible on the day. The atmosphere is friendly and supportive and there is afternoon tea!  You will also take home Jenny's book, Wildflower Gardening.

Please contact her directly for more information.
